What belongs here
- Your own original writing — fiction, poetry, essays, articles, book excerpts you have the rights to.
- Honest, constructive reviews and comments on other people's writing.
- Book listings for books you've actually written, published, or are recommending in good faith.
What isn't allowed
- Plagiarism: posting someone else's writing as your own. If you're quoting or referencing another writer's work, say so.
- Copyright infringement: uploading text, images, or excerpts you don't hold the rights to, beyond fair quotation.
- Illegal content: anything that breaks Nepali law, including content that incites violence or facilitates illegal activity.
- Graphic content without warning: explicit violence or sexual content should be clearly labeled if posted at all — check the Catch's content settings.
- Misleading paid posts: a Paid Post's preview shouldn't misrepresent what's actually behind the paywall.
- Spam or fake engagement: mass-posting, vote/like manipulation, or fake accounts to inflate Akshar, follower counts, or Praise.
Paid content specifically
If you're publishing a Paid Post, the free preview needs to genuinely represent the writing behind it — readers should know roughly what they're paying to unlock, not be misled into paying for something else entirely.
How moderation works
Content that breaks these rules can be removed, and repeated violations can lead to account restrictions. We look at context and intent, not just keywords — a difficult topic handled thoughtfully in fiction isn't the same as content that exists purely to violate these rules.
