This page is about how WritingNepal itself commits to operating — not rules for users, but principles we hold ourselves to.
Transparency around Akshar
Akshar is real, tracked credit — how much you can earn, and what it's worth (100 AK = Rs 1), is stated plainly and won't be changed retroactively on Akshar you've already earned.
Fair treatment of Paid Post earnings
When a reader unlocks your Paid Post, your share of that payment is calculated the same way for every writer — no undisclosed special deals or hidden cuts that differ writer to writer.
Editorial independence
What gets featured, promoted, or highlighted on WritingNepal is based on genuine editorial judgment about quality and relevance — not because someone paid for placement without disclosure. Any sponsored or promoted content is labeled as such.
Data handling
We collect what's actually needed to run the platform, explained plainly in our Privacy Policy — not vague legal language designed to obscure what's actually happening with your information.
Honesty about the product
Features that are still in progress are labeled "Coming Soon" or "beta" rather than presented as finished. If something breaks or a mistake is made — a bug, a wrong Akshar calculation, anything — we'll say so and fix it, not quietly patch it and hope no one noticed.
Accountability
If you believe we've fallen short of any of this, tell us here — this page means nothing if there's no way to hold it accountable.
