Am I worthy of the dreams I chase,
Or am I only losing pace?
Can I still become who I once knew,
Or was that person never true?
I reach for hope, but lose my hold,
My fire dims, my heart grows cold.
The voice that said, “You ll make it through,”
Now barely whispers, “Will you?”
I ask myself, night after night,
“Do I still have the strength to fight?”
But every answer fades from sight,
Like dying stars that once burned bright.
And maybe that’s what haunts me most
Not losing, but becoming a ghost
Of who I swore I would someday be,
Until even my dreams stop calling me.
So tell me aam I worthy still?
Can I climb this endless hill?
Or will I wake one day and find
I left my faith in me behind?

A beautiful and deeply moving poem. Sometimes, the hardest battle is believing in ourselves when life makes us question our worth. Our dreams may take longer than we hoped, but that doesn't make us any less worthy of achieving them.🙏
