You can now mention people in your writing

Type @ in a status update and start typing a name — a real person, pulled from an actual search, not a guess. Mention someone and they’ll get a notification, same as a like or a follow. It’s a small thing, but it’s the difference between writing into a feed and actually talking to the people reading it.

Notifications also got smarter this update — several likes or follows landing close together now show up as one grouped notification with everyone’s photo, instead of a long list of near-identical lines.
